With Law. 232 December 11 2016 – art. 1, paragraphs 348 and 349, and the next inter-ministerial decree of 8 June 2017 It was established, at the Department for family policies of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, a new fund called 'Support Fund birth' designed to ensure access to credit for families with one or more children, born or adopted from 1 January 2017, through the issue of direct guarantees, also surety, banks and financial intermediaries.
They can apply for a loan up to 10.000 euro parents of children, born or adopted from January First 2017, until the end of the third year of age of the child or within three years after, no income restrictions.
Now came the signing of the agreement between the Prime Ministers – Department of Family and policies of the Italian Banking Association (HELP) for starting the accession process of the banks.
“In view of the technical and administrative time required for the completion of the procedures for joining the initiative by the banks, It reads the press release of ABI, The Fund will be operational as of May 2019”.
The initiative includes, in particular:
• to cover the issue of guarantees on first demand of 50% funding;
• duration of loans not exceeding 7 years and an amount not exceeding 10.000 €.
Since the birth of a child brings with it new demands and expenses, families just have to see the manager's website Consap, for a list of banks or financial intermediaries participating in the initiative to turn to for information and eventual signing of the loan.
