Whoever uses, even occasionally, gas supplied via urban distribution networks or transport networks, automatically benefits from insurance against gas accidents.
There are approximately twenty million Italians/users, with domestic gas supply contract, who can benefit from the conditions and services provided following accidents and/or damage caused by the use of gas, that arrives at home, from the grid city.
This is a collective national insurance policy, signed as of 2004 (and renewed periodically) from Italian Gas Committee (CIG) in the name and on behalf of civil end users of gas distributed via networks.
Its object is accident insurance, for material damage to real estate and/or things and for all the consequences of Civil Liability arising for the Insured following accidents that are a direct consequence of leaks and/or gas leaks caused by any event, which manifest themselves through fire, blast and explosion.
