In Italy, there are many sites where you can download free ebooks in Italian legally and safely. Here are some of the best resources:
- Free Free: an Italian digital library with over 4.000 titles of literary classics, all downloadable for free in various formats.
- Project Gutenberg: even if international, has a section dedicated to ebooks in Italian, perfect for the great classics.
- BooksandBooks: offers PDF ebooks without registration, including works by Cervantes, Wilde, Svevo and Machiavelli.
- IBS: has a section dedicated to free ebooks, including novels, thrillers and children's books.
Why choose an e-reader for travel?
- It takes up very little space
- You can bring thousands of books with tea
- It does not strain the eyes like a tablet or smartphone
- Some models also allow you to listen to audiobooks
Whoever picks up an e-reader never abandons it again. Mobility leads towards the electronic book, a more thoughtful reading towards the paper one.
