L’Assonebb (National Association Encyclopedia of the Bank and the Stock Exchange) was born in 2005 following the transformation of the Institute for the Encyclopedia of the Bank and Borsa SpA, founded in 1972 by a group of banks, including the Bank of Italy.
It supports the development of banking and financial knowledge and culture.
It does it through Bankpedia.org, a real Bank Encyclopedia, stock exchange and online finance. An innovative tool for consultation and updating.
In addition 6.000 rumors and continuously updated and topical for this dictionary that combines monographs and research apparatuses with the usual lexicographic part.
For citizens (market operators, scholars of the subject and young people who intend to specialize on the issues of money and finance) it is also possible to propose new items to be published in the Bankpedia encyclopedia.
In fact, readers are asked not to have just a user role, but of transformation actors, suggesting corrections and additions to existing entries, and proposing new ones.

So all that remains is to go and sail on Bankpedia.org to search and learn about those banking terms, financial and stock exchanges that by now we happen to read more and more also in generalist newspapers as well as to listen to them on the evening news.
