In his speech, the ABI General Manager Giovanni Sabatini, considering the revision of the rules contained in the EBA guidelines – (ABI asks for an extension of the default threshold from the current 1% to 5%) – he has declared "It will be necessary to ensure that the measures adopted are directed towards companies that have effective resilience in order to avoid a dispersion of economic resources to the detriment of the economy, and that they must not represent an incentive not to pay the debts incurred.”
